July Product Update


At Campfire, we're constantly working to improve your experience. We’ve been listening to customer feedback and working hard to refine our product.
We shipped 22 new product features in July. Here's a few of our favorites:
AI Contract review
AI reviews your customer order forms and pre-fills contract terms and product data
Universal search
Our global search feature searches across more objects such as reports Trial balance by department

Formula rows in custom income statements
Add calculated rows like Gross Margin % or EBITDA to tailor your reports with custom formulas.
Validation rules
Ensure that required fields are inputted by your team across all dimensions (e.g. department, tag groups, payee, etc.) in Campfire
Tag groups on contracts
Add ability to associate your tags to contracts and have your revenue recognition entries tagged. Plus, custom fields on contracts, invoices, fixed assets, journal entries, and much more!
Restrict admins from posting their own entries
Admins can now be restricted from posting journal entries they created, allowing for stronger internal controls and approval workflows. To enable this, select Approval Required when editing a team member in your Team page.
Ramp clearing account for bill payments
Use a dedicated clearing account for Ramp bill payments to better track payment flows and bank reconciliation. This can be enabled from your Ramp settings page (link)
Real-time payroll JEs
Post payroll journal entries as each pay run is processed, ensuring real-time reflection in your books. This can be enabled from your Payroll settings page
Group Stripe revenue by product
Revenue from Stripe can now be grouped by product, giving you better insight into what's driving your topline.

New invoice and bill CSV upload process
We’ve launched a new invoice CSV upload flow—be sure to download the updated templates to ensure successful uploads.
Bank Reconciliation Performance Boost
We’ve increased the page size processing capacity for bank reconciliations, making it faster and smoother to work with large transaction volumes.
Sync opportunity attachments from Salesforce
PDF attachments from Salesforce (e.g. contracts, quotes) can now be synced directly into Campfire, making it easier to centralize key documents.
